HANCOM set a goal of surpassing 200 billion won in standalone revenue this year.
HANCOM said in a disclosure on the 20th that its management targets for this year are standalone revenue of 210 billion won and operating profit of 60 billion won. Compared with last year's standalone revenue of 175.3 billion won and operating profit of 50.9 billion won, the figures are up 20% and 18%, respectively. If the targets are met, breaking through 200 billion won in revenue would be a first since the company was founded.
HANCOM plans to significantly increase revenue from the B-Office segment and raise it to about 50% of total revenue. It will diversify its business portfolio by adding artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and software as a service to its existing installation-based package-centered revenue structure.
It is also pushing into overseas markets. In Japan, it is expanding its non-face-to-face identity verification (eKYC) business.
It will also begin in earnest this year an "AI Orchestrator" strategy that connects various AI agents to optimize enterprise work environments. By increasing the share of annual recurring revenue (ARR), it aims to reduce earnings volatility and shift its corporate valuation framework from that of a package software company to the level of a platform company. The service is slated for launch in the first half of this year.
Kim Yeon-su, CEO of HANCOM, said, "Achieving 200 billion won in standalone revenue and reaching a 50% share for non-Office revenue will be a strong signal that HANCOM is no longer an Office company."
