Konatus, which operates "Tooroo Taxi," said on the 16th that it surpassed 30 billion won in annual revenue last year and turned a profit in the first quarter of this year.
According to the company, it posted the highest results since its founding by exceeding 30 billion won in revenue on a consolidation basis last year, and turned profitable in the first quarter this year with 10 billion won in revenue and 400 million won in operating profit.
The company said the latest performance was mainly driven by diversification through the acquisition of the substitute driving solution corporations CMNP, along with higher revenue from existing mobility solutions.
Konatus provides dispatch, location-based services, payment and settlement, and operations control functions to taxi and substitute driving operators in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) format.
Konatus CEO Kim Ki-dong said, "The acquisition of CMNP strengthened our business structure," adding, "We will make this year the first year of a turnaround and establish ourselves as a comprehensive mobility platform partner."
