Chinese home appliance company Dreame Technology said on the 15th it will launch its new water purifier, the "C10," in the Korean market.
The C10 water purifier features rapid heating technology (FlashHot). The company said it allows precise temperature settings depending on the type of beverage. A dual protection system that combines a multi-layer composite filter and ultraviolet (UV) sterilization is also applied. It also has a no-installation design that requires no separate setup.
Dreame is releasing the product by first unveiling the C10 water purifier on the crowdfunding platform Wadiz. The company said, "It is a strategy to secure initial demand and broaden consumer touchpoints," adding, "Across the home appliance industry recently, there is a growing trend of first unveiling new products in the form of crowdfunding to gauge market response in advance."
Preorders for the C10 water purifier on Wadiz run through May 6. After that, sales will also be made through online channels such as the official website, Naver, and Coupang, as well as offline channels such as Etland.
A Dreame official said, "The C10 focuses on improving everyday drinking experiences by combining fast hot and cold water delivery with hygiene technology," adding, "We plan to continue expanding our product portfolio into various home appliance categories and provide a differentiated user experience based on a smart home ecosystem."
