Artificial intelligence (AI) service platform corporations Wrtn Technologies (Wrtn) said on the 15th that last year's revenue was about 47.1 billion won, nearly 15 times higher than in 2024. Wrtn on this day disclosed its externally audited financial statements for the first time in the five years since its founding.
Wrtn's 2025 revenue was 47.11721 billion won, up 1,432.9% from the prior year (3.07372 billion won). Operating loss was 58.85215 billion won, 1.95 times higher than the prior year (30.16271 billion won). Over the same period, operating expense was 105.96936 billion won, 3.2 times higher than the prior year (33.23642 billion won).
Wrtn said, "While revenue grew 15 times in a year, the increase in losses fell short of doubling, which proves Wrtn has entered the initial phase of a J-curve showing explosive growth," adding, "Given the characteristics of the IT service industry, upfront platform investment and user acquisition expense preceding a full-fledged turn to net profit is a natural growth process."
Lee Se-young, Wrtn's CEO, said, "The steep J-curve growth we showed last year has continued to accelerate this year," adding, "This year as well, through revenue diversification such as the full-scale rollout of the AX business and expansion into global markets, we will continue solid and explosive growth as Korea's leading AI service corporations."
