LG Electronics said on the 15th it hosted "LG HVAC CONNECT 2026" from the 13th for four days, inviting major heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) partners from 15 Asian countries, including the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia, to Korea.
More than 70 key partners from each country who attended the seminar distribute LG Electronics' HVAC products locally and handle physical installation.
LG Electronics set up a regional strategy business offering zone, an LG HVAC artificial intelligence (AI) zone and a new business zone at Magok LG Science Park to showcase a diverse HVAC product portfolio and project execution capabilities. In particular, the regional strategy business offering zone displayed cases that LG Electronics actually proposed, reflecting the characteristics of each country and customer.
The LG HVAC AI zone featured "DualCool AI," the latest model of the wall-mounted air conditioner that sells the most in Asia, and "Multi V i," which adds an AI engine to a commercial air conditioner to deliver an energy optimization solution, while the new business zone showcased an AI data center cooling solution (CDU) that is also drawing attention in Asia.
Separate sessions by subsidiary also revealed product portfolios and operation strategies tailored to each country's characteristics. Partners who toured the Pyeongtaek chiller plant and LG Electronics' premium appliance store, the flagship D5, saw LG Electronics' HVAC technologies spanning from extra-large chillers to home products such as air purifiers.
Lee Jae-sung, president and head of the ES Business Division at LG Electronics, said, "By strengthening relationships with local partners who play a key role in the Global South HVAC market and sharing strategic direction, we will not only expand sales but also build a sustainable growth model."
