Webzen said on Apr. 14 that it will officially release the indie game "Memories: Forsaken by Light" on Apr. 28.
"Memories" is an indie game in the turn-based strategy role-playing game (RPG) genre, developed by domestic studio Black Anchor and published by Webzen. It will launch globally through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The game was unveiled in an early access format in Oct. 2023 under the name "Lemoire," and for more than two years, it has improved its gameplay by reflecting user feedback. In Feb. 2026, it changed its title to "Memories" and prepared for the official release.
"Memories" is set in a medieval fantasy world and follows an expedition to restore a world that has lost its mysterious light. Players form an expedition party by combining various skills and weapons, and can engage in strategic combat and exploration within limited rules.
In the official release version, four new characters will be added along with an expanded main quest, and players can explore about 80 regions in total. It also supports eight languages, including English, Chinese, and French, for global users.
