AhnLab said on the 13th that it showcased its CPS (cyber-physical system) security solutions at Japan's largest IT exhibition, "Japan IT Week."
At the event held in Tokyo from the 8th to the 10th, AhnLab ran a booth with its Japan subsidiary and partner company "Mikasa Trading," exhibiting the integrated CPS security platform "AhnLab CPS Plus," centered on the OT (operational technology) endpoint security solution "AhnLab EPS."
In OT environments, availability—maintaining uninterrupted, continuous system operations—is critical. AhnLab EPS minimizes system performance degradation based on an ultra-lightweight design and supports stable OT endpoint protection with AhnLab's malware detection technology.
An AhnLab official said, "Due to Japan's manufacturing-centered industrial structure, demand for responses is expanding as attacks targeting OT increase."
In the booth session presentation, the company introduced the importance of OT endpoint security and security implementation measures applicable to real OT environments.
Lee Sang-guk, head of marketing and global business at AhnLab, said, "We will continue to provide optimal security solutions and strategies needed by local customers and steadily expand our presence in global markets, including Japan."
