Wemade acquired equity in Wemade Play and incorporated it as a subsidiary.
Until then, Wemade's subsidiary WEMIX Korea had controlled Wemade Play, but Wemade bought all of Wemade Play's equity from WEMIX Korea, which had served as an intermediate holding company, and became the largest shareholder.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 13th, Wemade disclosed that on the 9th it acquired 3.9 million shares of Wemade Play (39.36% of total shares issued) from WEMIX Korea through off-hours block trading. The purchase price was 26.676 billion won. As a result, the largest shareholder of Wemade Play changed from WEMIX Korea to Wemade.
Wemade described the purpose of this share transaction as "a transaction for restructuring and streamlining the governance structure."
