Nexon said on the 10th it will hold a special event on the 29th, renting out Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil, Seoul, for the entire day to mark the 23rd anniversary of its online game MapleStory.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the 29th, and participants can enjoy a variety of attractions, including the recently opened Maple Island, along with the seasonal festival MapleStory in Lotte World. Separate event programs exclusive to the full-day rental will also be prepared.
Admission tickets will be sold through Ticket Link for MapleStory users, with the first pre-sale at 8 p.m. on Apr. 20 and the second at 8 p.m. on Apr. 24. Pre-sale is available only to users who have been issued a membership code. The first membership code will be provided to users whose main character is level 280 or higher, and the second code to users between level 260 and below 280.
In addition, an invitation event will run through Apr. 15 for users who meet certain conditions. Users who achieve at least one of nine items—such as daily attendance for the past year, holding 1,500 or more cosmetic items, defeating bosses, or being a long-term user—can apply, and admission tickets will be awarded by lottery.
On the day of the event, popular MapleStory creators will take part as one-day staff and interact with users, and a special cake design commemorating the 23rd anniversary will be featured at the on-site photo zone.
Further details about the event can be found on the official MapleStory website.
