SOOP said on the 9th that it is unveiling the new music audition content "Amyuso X" and launching a collaboration with the vocal group Noul.
"Amyuso X" is a project-style audition content that expands SOOP's flagship music IP "Amyuso," and is a growth program that, through artist collaborations, leads all the way to actual debut.
"Amyuso" is a music content series that has been running since 2017 and has established itself as a stage for indie musicians and amateur music creators, while also expanding the music ecosystem on the platform as various instrument-playing streamers have taken part.
In this "Amyuso X," Noul will directly take part in judging and mentoring, taking on the role of elevating participants' vocal abilities and stage completeness.
Applications are open through Apr. 16 and anyone 19 or older can apply. The audition will proceed sequentially from the preliminary round on Apr. 21 to the main round and the final, and the entire process will be held at the Jamsil DN Colosseum.
The preliminary round will be a 60-second a cappella vocal test, and in the main round, participants will present reinterpreted stages of Noul's songs. In the final, a free-choice song will be performed and a collaboration track with Noul will be released. The winner will be determined by a combined score of the judges' evaluations and user votes.
The total prize money is 20 million won, with the winner receiving prize money and content support funds, as well as opportunities to release a track with Noul and perform on a concert stage.
A SOOP official said, "Amyuso X is a program that discovers talented artists and supports them through growth," adding, "We will continue to strengthen the competitiveness of music content through various collaborations."
