NHN Cloud said on the 9th that it will participate in Asia's largest IT exhibition, "2026 Japan IT Week," to be held in Tokyo, Japan, from the 8th to the 10th of this month.
Since 2019, NHN Cloud has operated a Tokyo region and provided locally tailored cloud services. At this exhibition, it introduced its experience building a "cloud full stack" based on proprietary technology proven in Korea's public and financial markets. It also shared use cases of industry-specific cloud adoption and high-performance graphics processing unit (GPU)-based AI infrastructure service (GPUaaS) verified in Korea.
Strategic partner "INNOGRID" also took part in the event. The two companies presented infrastructure configurations suited to the Japanese market and efficient expansion directions, based on NHN Cloud's infrastructure and INNOGRID's operations technology.
NHN Cloud plans to expand its business in Japan based on the results of this exhibition. It said it will supply AX (AI transformation) solutions optimized for the local market in collaboration with NHN Techorus, NHN's technology-focused subsidiary in Japan.
NHN Cloud said Japan is accelerating AI adoption and digital transformation to address structural issues such as population decline and labor shortages, making its growth potential significant. In particular, the Generative AI market is expected to grow about 16 times by 2030, and demand for AX is expanding across industries.
Kim Dong-hoon, CEO of NHN Cloud, said, "We will use this exhibition as a springboard to solidify our position in the Japanese market."
