Wearable robot corporations Angel Robotics said on the 7th that it held talks with the Interministerial Directorate for Investment (SGPI) under the office of the French prime minister on ways to cooperate in business.
SGPI Secretary-General Bruno Bonnell visited Angel Robotics on the 6th and discussed ways to cooperate in the robotics industry. The visit took place in line with French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to Korea. The event was held to explore possibilities for strategic cooperation in the field of robots, which Korea and France have identified as a key industry of the future.
SGPI officials, including Secretary-General Bruno Bonnell, Robotics specialist Catherine Simon, and raw materials specialist Matthieu Brandiba, as well as officials from the French Embassy in Korea, attended. Angel Robotics presented wearable robot technology currently used in medical settings and clinical application cases. The two sides also exchanged specific views on entering the European market and the potential for joint cooperation.
Angel Robotics CEO Cho Nam-min said, "Based on technology verified in medical settings, we are expanding into the global market, and Europe is also one of the key strategic markets," adding, "Including cooperation with France, we will prepare to build meaningful partnerships in the European market."
