Nate Communications on the 7th officially launched Nate Ondeal, a closed curation shopping service exclusively for Nate members. The service combines commerce with Nate's community asset, and unlike general open markets, its core is offering special prices only to members.
The company said Nate Ondeal leveraged the advantages of a closed-mall model to shorten distribution stages and lower marketing expense, boosting price competitiveness. Digital marketing specialist Incross is in charge of service operations and supplier management, enhancing expertise and stability.
With the official opening, the company also unveiled a product lineup aimed at users in their 30s and 40s. It expanded choices by placing exclusive planned products around high-demand categories such as home appliances, food and health foods, and fashion. It also reduced users' search burden by putting curated sections front and center, including "Special price ON," released every day at 10 a.m., "Real-time popular BEST," and "Newly opened."
It also prepared a "Moving and wedding special price exhibition" aimed at the spring moving and wedding season. Kitchenware, bedding, and home-living products will be offered at discounts of up to 91%. All new subscribers will receive a welcome coupon pack consisting of a 10% discount coupon and a 5% discount coupon that can be used on purchases of 30,000 won or more.
A Nate official said, "A service that expands users' culture of empathy and communication into shopping," and added, "We will expand categories to goods, concert tickets, travel, accommodations, and books to build a differentiated commerce realm."
