Devsisters said on the 7th that its trading card game (TCG) "Cookie Run: Braverse Card Game" will hold the global official tournament "World Championship" from Apr. 11 to 12 at S-Factory in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
This tournament is the first and largest global competition for the Cookie Run card game, where players who passed regional qualifiers will gather to determine the final winner.
The event will be held at S-Factory, a multi-cultural complex of about 1,000 pyeong, and will feature not only the tournament but also various hands-on content and side programs. Admission is free with on-site queuing, without a separate reservation.
Eighteen players selected from 10 regions around the world, including Korea and North America, will compete in the World Championship. On the first day, the tournament will be held in a random bracket format, and the winner will receive a trophy, five don of gold coins, and a champion souvenir.
Alongside this, side matches such as "Brave League" and "2 on 2" will be available for general users to join. All participants will receive a World Championship limited Legacy Pack, and they can take part through on-site registration.
At the venue, a variety of hands-on content will be offered not only for TCG players but also for general visitors. There will be a Roblox-based "Cookie Run Card Collection" experience zone, as well as card collection and exchange events and a cookie drawing experience zone.
In addition, participatory programs such as a workshop to learn game basics, "Cookie Run Golden Bell," and a "booster pack open event" will be held, and various prizes will be offered through stamp rally missions.
On site, a store selling goods related to the Cookie Run IP will also operate, and limited-edition products featuring special illustrations will be unveiled.
This World Championship has been prepared as an offline event that not only game users but also a wide range of visitors can enjoy together.
