Although artificial intelligence (AI) technology is advancing rapidly, a diagnosis found that not many corporations are achieving actual business results through consolidation. Megazone Cloud presented an operating framework that includes governance, security, and compliance—rather than model performance—as the key that determines success or failure in adopting AI.
Megazone Cloud said on the 3rd that it held the partner conference "ICON 2026" on the 2nd at the Grand Ballroom of InterContinental Seoul COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and unveiled corporations' AI operating strategies. Chief Executive Yeom Dong-hoon of Megazone Cloud said, "Only 7% of corporations are creating successful business value with AI, and 93% have not crossed the AI chasm," adding, "What matters in adopting new technology is not the technology itself but operations."
Marking its third year, ICON is an event where AI, cloud, and security technologies and operating cases are shared based on Megazone Cloud's network of more than 200 global partners. This year, 21 global technology partners and major clients participated, and about 1,200 industry officials visited the venue.
Megazone Cloud introduced an "enterprise TRUST layer" strategy to address the common issues corporations face after adopting AI—security, regulation, and access control. The core is to manage the entire process from AI build to execution and control using five criteria: traceability, regulatory management, access control, standardization, and operational tooling. Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Hwang In-cheol said, "Successful AI is decided not by a well-made model but on a structure that is well operated."
Chief AI Officer (CAIO) Gong Seong-bae also unveiled the enterprise AI operating system "AIR Studio V2." Gong said, "To build, run, and control agentic AI, an enterprise AI OS that centrally manages it is required," adding, "AIR Studio V2 integrates model and data management, orchestration, and governance control functions into a single platform."
Real-world adoption cases were shared on site. Amorepacific applied a semantic layer to achieve 100% answer accuracy for 16 types of user requests and said it has built a system that automatically handles about 50% of general inquiries. Korean Air Lines said it introduced a multicloud security framework based on Wiz to filter risks that actually require prioritized response among hundreds of vulnerabilities and enable preemptive control.
Megazone Cloud emphasized that "security is also an operational design that prevents business disruption, not just a simple defensive technology."
