Kakao Entertainment said on the 2nd that it opened actor Kim Min-ju's official fan community on the global K-culture fan platform Berriz.
As Kim Min-ju's first official fan community since debut, she plans to use Berriz to communicate more closely and deeply with fans around the world.
Building a presence with a clear, pure aura and delicate emotional expression, Kim Min-ju has been cementing her position as an actor by taking on a wide range of characters in various works, including MBC "The Forbidden Marriage," the film "Hear Me," MBC "Undercover High School," and JTBC "Shining." In addition to acting, she has consistently engaged with fans on social media, maintaining communication with a friendly charm.
Kim Min-ju will expand points of contact with fans through Berriz and continue more in-depth communication. The fandom name "Mingdeulle" combines the nickname "Ming" and "dandelion," a symbol of steadfast devotion, and carries the meaning of becoming beings who convey gratitude and happiness to each other.
An April Fools' Day event held ahead of the official opening also drew a positive response from fans. On the 1st, the community was unveiled under the name "Dandelion Club," and the event "Find the dandelion drawn by Chair Kim" was held. Winners selected by lottery among those with correct answers received signed goods, and fans participated enthusiastically, creating a cheerful atmosphere.
Kim Min-ju said, "Going forward, I'll communicate more often with our 'Mingdeulle' and come to you with a variety of content available only on Berriz," adding, "Let's make our time even sweeter."
To mark the opening of the community, Kakao Entertainment will hold a greeting event for new members and plans to give away Polaroids signed by Kim Min-ju to selected participants by lottery.
Meanwhile, Berriz is a platform where fans around the world communicate around various K-culture, including K-pop, drama, variety shows, films, and sports. Since the official service launch in Mar. 2025, users from 202 countries have participated, with global users accounting for 80%. It is expanding the fan experience through features such as AI persona and AI comment reports.
