SK AX unveiled AXgenticWire NPO, an agentic artificial intelligence (AI)-based infrastructure operations service, on Apr. 2.
AXgenticWire NPO is a service in which AI agents detect, analyze, and judge signs of anomalies in advance to lower the possibility of system failures. An SK AX official said, "In the rapidly expanding AI cloud environment, complexity has increased—such as having to consider graphics processing unit (GPU) resource management and workload volatility—raising the likelihood of system failures," explaining the background for the service launch.
The core of the new service is to analyze log, metric, and event data generated across AI infrastructure—including systems, GPUs, and AI workloads—and then shift a human-centered operations process to an AI-based intelligent operations framework.
For example, when a detection agent senses an anomaly, an analysis agent interprets it to infer the cause, and an impact agent broadens the scope to surrounding systems to assess the impact. After that, a remediation agent executes recovery, configuration changes, and resource reallocation.
To enhance user convenience for AXgenticWire NPO, SK AX provides AI Studio, which allows corporations to easily design and operate agentic AI on their own, and MCP Builder, a tool that can generate a Model Context Protocol (MCP) in just a few minutes. It also applies GPU-as-a-Service to centrally manage GPU resources, enabling stable operations even for AI training and inference workloads.
Cha Ji-won, SK AX chief AI innovation officer (CAIO), said, "Because AI moves first to respond across operations, it can minimize the risk of failures caused by human error," adding, "With the introduction of AXgenticWire NPO, corporations can speed up their AX execution transition—from operating with zero downtime to delivering intelligent application services."
