Cho Il, the new CEO of KT Skylife, is said to have been notified to resign.
According to multiple industry sources on the 31st, Cho Il, the new CEO of KT Skylife, recently received a resignation notice from parent company KT. Cho was appointed as the new CEO on the 26th after KT Skylife's regular shareholders meeting and board meeting.
A source said it would be "likely" that the resignation notice was delivered and noted that "things appear to have been handled less than smoothly during KT's reorganization and KT Skylife's restructuring." KT Skylife said it has "nothing confirmed."
KT on the day officially appointed Park Yoon-young as CEO at its regular shareholders meeting and initiated a large-scale executive reshuffle and organizational restructuring.
