TikTok said on the 31st that it will take part in the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME)'s "2026 global shopping mall utilization sales support program" to help about 30 Korean small and midsize corporations enter the Southeast Asian market.
Through this program, TikTok will support small and midsize corporations aiming to enter Southeast Asia in opening TikTok Shop in five countries: Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Malaysia. For corporations already on TikTok Shop, it will support marketing activities using TikTok Shop to offer opportunities to move to the next stage of growth.
For corporations on the platform, TikTok will provide all services needed to start, from building a TikTok Shop to online and offline onboarding training. To fully leverage the strength of TikTok Shop—offering a one-stop experience from watching content to product delivery—it will partner with professional fulfillment companies and support the entire logistics process, including inbound, forwarding, storage, packing, and local delivery. This also includes support tailored to local market characteristics, such as creating localized product detail pages and establishing a global customer service manual.
In addition, it will systematically provide education on TikTok Shop and support plans to boost marketing.
Park Han-beom, head of client solutions at TikTok Korea, said, "Through this program, we can provide the necessary support to small and midsize corporations that were interested in entering Southeast Asia via TikTok Shop but faced difficulties," adding, "In particular, in Southeast Asia, where TikTok usage is high, the expected effects from operating a TikTok Shop will be a major business opportunity for many corporations."
