Fasoo said it is changing its name to "FasooAI" and shifting to a corporations supporting artificial intelligence (AI) innovation (AX).
Fasoo approved an agenda item to change its name to "FasooAI" at the 26th annual general meeting of shareholders held on the 30th. The name change reflects a strategic direction to expand beyond its existing data security-centered business into AI, data, and governance.
FasooAI plans to leap forward as a corporations that supports the AX of corporations and institutions based on the capabilities it has built in the global data security and management market. Building on its understanding of and technology for the enterprise IT environment, it has expanded its business by combining the data management and security capabilities needed in the AI era.
Since releasing a personal information protection solution using generative artificial intelligence (AI) in 2022, Fasoo has ramped up its AI business by unveiling the enterprise large language model (LLM) "Ellm." Recently, it has also moved to expand in the global market, including by pursuing the launch of the enterprise AI solutions corporations "Symbologic" through a merger between its U.S. unit and local AI platform and consulting corporations Concilix.
With this name change, FasooAI plans to strengthen its related portfolio, including an enterprise AI platform and agentic AI-based services, AI governance, and AI-ready data management and protection. It also plans to expand its consulting business to serve as a partner that supports the implementation of "safe AX."
