SK Broadband said on the 30th that, as the importance of security has grown due to various cyberthreats such as viruses, phishing, and smishing, it has launched the "Sajangnim Ansim" service, which provides triple-layer security—prevention, diagnosis, and inspection—for PCs and smart devices.
The company said the "Sajangnim Ansim" service protects small business stores' internet security and removes the burden of discount clawbacks. The service provides functions including: blocking access to harmful sites and malware on PCs and smart devices (tablets, mobile phones); virus scanning and treatment; remote and on-site inspections in the event of a failure; and blocking access to smishing, hacking, phishing, and quishing.
SK Broadband will waive the internet discount clawback if a customer using "Sajangnim Ansim" unavoidably cancels within the contract period due to store closure, upon submission of proof of closure. The company said it could help ease management burdens for small businesses in an environment where operational risks have risen amid an economic downturn and more frequent closures.
The monthly fee for the "Sajangnim Ansim" service is 3,300 won; when used with "Dundeun Giga Lite," the monthly fee is 38,500 won, and when used with "Dundeun Giga Lite Share" (simultaneous use on up to 10 PCs/laptops), the monthly fee is 40,700 won based on a three-year contract.
When used together with "Dundeun Internet," launched in Jul. last year, customers can also receive support for compensation for financial fraud damages (up to 3 million won, once a year) and compensation for repair costs of in-store devices such as POS and card terminals (up to 500,000 won, once a year).
The company also prepared a promotional event to mark the launch of "Sajangnim Ansim." From Mar. 30 to Jun. 30, new customers who sign up for Giga Wi-Fi 7 and Giga-tier internet (500M/1G) at the same time will receive the "Sajangnim Ansim" service fee free for two months based on a three-year contract.
