Com2uS said on the 30th that it will develop a new game based on the popular Japanese animation "I left the A-rank party and aim for the depths of the labyrinth with my former pupils."
Com2uS signed a license agreement with IP (intellectual property) rightsholder Kodansha and will push ahead with game development and global publishing for the work. The company plans to preserve the core appeal of the original while adding gameplay fun unique to the game to expand the IP experience.
"A-rank party" is a popular IP that has sold a cumulative 1.8 million copies through light novels and comics, and is expanding its global fandom through a TV animation. It has drawn attention as an adventure fantasy saga about the red mage "Yuke," who left a top-tier party and challenges the depths of the labyrinth with former pupils, and a second season of the animation is currently in production.
The project was unveiled on the 29th at AnimeJapan 2026 in Tokyo. Com2uS announced the game's development news with the voice cast on the booth stage and drew attention from on-site visitors by previewing a teaser video.
The released teaser video featured the protagonist "Yuke" and the pupils "Rein" and "Marina," heralding a new journey to unfold in the game.
Meanwhile, Com2uS also showcased animation-based new titles at the event, including "Dowonamgwi Crimson Inferno" and "Gachiakuta: The Game (working title)," and plans to continue targeting the global market.
