Pearl Abyss said on the 27th that it held its 17th annual general meeting of shareholders at the Home One auditorium of its Gwacheon headquarters.
Through the general meeting, key agenda items, including approval of the financial statements and consolidation financial statements, amendments to the articles of incorporation, appointment of outside directors, and approval of newly established regulations on limits for director and auditor remuneration, were all submitted and passed as originally proposed.
Chief Executive Heo Jin-young of Pearl Abyss said, "In 2026, while further strengthening live services for existing games, we will do our best in developing our next new titles," and added, "Crimson Desert will be upgraded based on user feedback so that it becomes a game loved for a long time."
Heo said, "Crimson Desert has continued to deliver results, topping Steam sales, reaching 240,000 concurrent users, and selling 3 million copies in four days after launch," and added, "We will enhance the game's completeness through ongoing patches, including control improvements, based on user feedback."
Heo also said, "We will make sure not to neglect preparations for new titles such as DokeV," and added, "In particular, DokeV is being prepared so it can be introduced quickly after Crimson Desert, and we plan to disclose the development status at an appropriate time."
