SK Planet will carry out voluntary retirement for the second straight year after last year.
According to the industry on the 27th, SK Planet recently notified its internal members that it will accept voluntary retirement applications from all employees from Apr. 2 to 15.
An SK Planet official said, "Considering organizational streamlining and the effectiveness of supporting members' 'second lives,' we designated all members as candidates for voluntary retirement," adding, "The business environment is not easy at home and abroad."
The company set the compensation amount based only on age in full years, without differential application by length of service.
If voluntary retirement is approved after a review by the personnel committee, the company will pay employees under 50 the equivalent of 12 months of base annual salary. Those aged 50 to 54 will receive 24 months, and those aged 55 to 60 will receive 22 months of annual salary.
SK Planet also presented a child tuition support plan to ease the household burden on retirees.
