NHN Cloud said on the 27th that it signed a business agreement with TmaxTibero to build an AI infrastructure ecosystem based on domestic technology.
Through this agreement, NHN Cloud plans to link its GPU-based cloud infrastructure with TmaxTibero's database management system (DBMS) to build an AI service environment and pursue joint business and market expansion.
TmaxTibero is a corporations that develops and supplies the domestic DBMS "Tibero" and provides data processing solutions across various industries, including public, finance, and manufacturing.
The two companies will jointly design a structure that can integrate and manage AI training and inference data and work data, and review an AI infrastructure architecture applicable to real work environments. In particular, considering regulated industries such as public and finance, they will also prepare measures to address Data Sovereignty, security, and governance.
They also plan to secure references by promoting joint sales and adoption centered on data-intensive industries and to push for the spread of AI infrastructure based on domestic technology.
Park Kyung-hee, CEO of TmaxTibero, said, "Real work innovation is possible when infrastructure, data, and artificial intelligence (AI) services are connected in a single flow," and added, "We will present a practical AI infrastructure environment that meets Data Sovereignty and security requirements."
