Artificial intelligence (AI) agent startup Liner said on the 26th that it ranked No. 2 on Fast Company's list of the "most innovative education corporations in the world in 2026."
Liner placed second among the 15 corporations selected in the education institutional sector, following Merit America at No. 1. It outpaced leading global corporations such as Coursera, a world-renowned education institution (No. 10), and Duolingo, a language-learning platform well known in Korea (No. 12).
On why it selected Liner, Fast Company said, "It has made a significant contribution by enabling scholars and researchers to improve research quality through accurate information search." It also praised Liner as an AI search engine with world-class reliability, noting that it demonstrated accuracy surpassing big tech models in OpenAI's "SimpleQA" test.
Liner features "agentic research" technology built on 460 million scholarly data points, more than twice the industry standard. This is the core driver of Liner Scholar, an AI co-researcher that performs tasks from proposing hypotheses to drafting papers and conducting peer review.
