T Map Mobility released a list of 30 cherry blossom spots nationwide on the 26th to coincide with the blooming season.
In Seoul, Yangjaecheon, Ansan, and Anyang Cherry Blossom Road were selected. In Gyeonggi and Incheon, Yangpyeong Galsan Park, Hwanggujicheon, and Jangbongdo Cherry Blossom Road made the list. In Gangwon, Seoraksan Mountain and Maengbang Cherry Blossom Road were recommended, while in the Chungcheong region, Musimcheon and Cheonan Bukmyeon Wirye Cherry Blossom Road were suggested.
In the Jeolla region, Maisan, Songgwangsa, and Seomjingang Cherry Blossom Road were named. In the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, Hwangnyeongsan, Chari Village, and Hadong Simni Cherry Blossom Road were included. In Jeju, Jangjeon-ri King Cherry Tree Street was identified as a cherry blossom attraction.
A T Map Mobility official said, "We applied T Map's location recommendation algorithm with criteria such as name recognition, walkability, drive courses, and hidden gems." Without a separate search, the map automatically marks cherry blossom attractions with cherry blossom-shaped icons and pink dotted lines so users can grasp nearby cherry blossom sections at a glance.
In T Map's Where to go discovery tab, entering the Cherry blossom outing theme reveals more cherry blossom attractions. A total of 274 cherry blossom roads are organized by region so users can see the attractions at a glance.
In addition, tapping the Spring where to go icon on the T Map home screen shows recommended places by theme at a glance, such as Spring table and Spring outing. Spring table lists popular restaurants ideal for the spring season, while Spring outing offers places suited to themes like spring flower spots and festivals, spring picnics, history-tracing trips, and spring activities.
