NHN Cloud and NHN Dooray said on the 26th that they signed a strategic business agreement with DB Inc. to jointly promote cloud and digital transformation (DX) optimized for financial environments and AI-based work innovation.
NHN Cloud said it held a signing ceremony with DB Inc. and NHN Dooray at DB Inc.'s headquarters in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Key officials from each company attended the event.
DB Inc. is a systems integration (SI) specialist that has provided IT consulting and built and operated systems across industries such as finance, insurance, and manufacturing, and it has overseen DB Group's core IT infrastructure while driving digital transformation projects.
Through this agreement, the three companies will support the stable transition of the group's core services based on cloud infrastructure suited to financial environments and will advance a mid- to long-term DX vision and cloud-based innovation strategies.
They will also push for innovation in the group's work environment centered on NHN Dooray's AI-based collaboration platform. By integrating key functions such as messenger, mail, projects, and electronic approvals into a single work system, they aim to boost collaboration efficiency and improve overall work processes and productivity.
This agreement is meaningful in that it applies an AI utilization framework suitable for financial environments to real-world operations and concretizes digital transformation for external clients, thereby simultaneously pursuing improved service quality and enhanced work productivity.
To that end, NHN Cloud will provide a stable service operation foundation through finance-specialized cloud infrastructure and technical support, and DB Inc. will handle service adoption and expansion based on its IT operation experience with the group and the financial sector. NHN Dooray will integrate the AI collaboration platform "Dooray!" to drive changes in work practices and support the establishment of a digital work culture within the organization.
In addition, the three companies plan to jointly identify new business opportunities based on DX, cloud, and AI for financial and corporations clients, and to pursue the creation of business models that combine each company's technologies and capabilities.
