Kakao Entertainment said on the 25th that it unveiled KakaoPage's April lineup for the "Super-new project."
The lineup features two titles: "A genius director who devours OTT" by Shainak and "The jelly alien will save you!" by Milcha, set to be released on the 29th and 31st, respectively.
"A genius director who devours OTT" follows a protagonist who, after failing as an actor, pivots to become a director at an OTT corporations and jumps into the content production process based on an ability to read box office potential. The main narrative centers on the process of redesigning a work's structure to achieve success.
"The jelly alien will save you!" depicts a protagonist who becomes possessed as a jelly alien, a character in a game, and struggles to save family in a contaminated world. The cute premise contrasts with extreme survival conditions, heightening the tension.
The "Super-new project" is KakaoPage's flagship campaign that selects and introduces highly anticipated new web novels every month, and builds its lineup around new works from hit authors and other much-anticipated titles.
KakaoPage will also hold various events to coincide with the releases. In addition to an event offering a cash draw ticket for early-access viewing, it plans to expand user participation through initiatives such as an open run and an archiving event.
