LG Uplus said on the 25th that it will strengthen the digital content lineup within its unified app U+one by collaborating with Hyundai Card's digital culture content platform "Hyundai Card DIVE."
LG Uplus has operated the Plus Menu, a digital content channel on U+one, since Oct. last year. Under the theme "a space that adds a plus to customers' everyday lives," LG Uplus has showcased a variety of content, and through this collaboration, it moved to differentiate itself by expanding touchpoints to external cultural content. Content posted on the Plus Menu is available to anyone, regardless of carrier.
The two companies also prepared online and offline promotions to mark the collaboration. Through Nov. 17, after watching at least three Hyundai Card DIVE pieces on the Plus Menu and submitting preferred content on the "My taste-hit ONE PICK" page, participants will be entered into a drawing to receive prizes such as the Balmuda The Toaster Pro, the Aesop Shower Room Serenade set, and a 50,000-won Shinsegae gift certificate. Participation is open even to those who are not LG Uplus customers.
Offline benefits are also available. Through the end of this month, visitors can view the "Donald Judd: Furniture" exhibition for free at Hyundai Card Storage in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Show the exhibition introduction page within the Plus Menu at the site, and non-subscribers can also enter by downloading the U+one app. On Hyundai Card DIVE, an event related to LG Uplus' curated exhibition "Kwon Oh-sang's Simplexity: AI, humans and art" is also underway.
Kim Wone-kee, head of the Digital CX Tribe at LG Uplus, said, "We will expand differentiated content and benefits through collaborations with various artists and corporations."
