Liner said on the 24th that it signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Yonsei University to cultivate global artificial intelligence (AI) talent and drive AI-based education innovation.
Aiming to build an AI-utilization environment across the university, the agreement includes curriculum development, research infrastructure support and industry-academia cooperation projects.
Liner will provide its AI services to about 50,000 Yonsei University undergraduates, graduate students and faculty and staff. It will support "Liner Pro" for one year and has built a system that allows immediate use with a university email account.
The services provided include AI search, "Liner Scholar" and "Liner Write."
Members of Yonsei University can use AI throughout the research process, including scholarly data analysis and research project management, through these services.
The two sides plan to jointly promote AI-centered curriculum development, internships and industry-academia cooperation projects.
Kim Jin-woo, CEO of Liner, said, "Through cooperation with Yonsei University, we have created a case of AI education innovation," and added, "We will support students so they can build capabilities in using AI."
Han Seung-jae, head of the Software-Centered University Project Group at Yonsei University, said, "This cooperation will help improve students' ability to use AI," adding, "It will serve as an opportunity to present AI utilization models in the field of education."
