LG Electronics said on the 24th that it will participate in Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2026, held in Milan, Italy, for four days starting on the 24th (local time), to showcase heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions spanning all sectors, including residential, commercial and industrial.
MCE is an HVAC exhibition held biennially, and this year more than 1,600 corporations from 49 countries worldwide are taking part.
LG Electronics plans to accelerate its push into the local household HVAC market by highlighting an integrated residential heat pump system optimized for the European market through this exhibition.
First, LG Electronics is setting up a residential exhibition space to present a total HVAC solution that encompasses heating, cooling and hot water systems, centered on air-to-water heat pumps (AWHP), which are commonly used in Europe.
An air-to-water heat pump is a heating, cooling and hot water system that uses air as a heat source. It either recovers heat from outdoor air or releases heat from indoor air to the outside.
Using the heat of air taken in through the outdoor unit, the compressed refrigerant releases heat to warm water, and this water flows out of the outdoor unit and through the indoor unit and water tank to be used for heating and hot water.
LG Electronics will, for the first time, unveil three new indoor units for air-to-water heat pumps—control unit, hydro unit and combi unit—alongside the Therma V R290 Monobloc outdoor unit that uses R290 refrigerant with a global warming potential (GWP) of just 0.02.
In the commercial and industrial domains, it will also exhibit differentiated products such as system air conditioners and chillers.
Visitors can see LG Multi V i, which leads the commercial system air conditioner market, and LG ACP i, an HVAC control solution that allows multiple air conditioners to be conveniently managed as one.
It will also exhibit the Inverter Scroll Chiller (ISC), a commercial heating and cooling solution that combines high-efficiency refrigeration technology with precision control, and present the LG Chiller Total Solution, which integrates cooling, circulation, air handling and control into a single system.
