Samsung SDS said on the 19th that it held "Samsung SDS Industry Day" for administrative and public institutions and shared public-sector artificial intelligence (AI) transformation (AX) cases and strategies.
The event was held on Mar. 18 at the Government Sejong Convention Center, with about 250 officials from central ministries, administrative agencies, and public institutions attending.
Samsung SDS presented public AX transformation cases based on the pan-government AI common platform project and the intelligent work management project. National Information Society Agency (NIA) presented cases of applying civil service and administrative services using the pan-government AI common platform.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education shared organizational changes and application cases after introducing the Generative AI-based collaboration solution "Brity Works & Copilot."
A case of an integrated AI civil service applied to Government24 was also introduced. The service is a case of building a civil complaint handling and response system using the pan-government AI common platform.
Samsung SDS presented public cloud transition strategies along with plans to build cloud, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and disaster recovery (DR) centers. It also explained directions for utilizing data centers and building infrastructure for the introduction of Generative AI.
Vice President Lee Jeong-heon, head of strategy marketing at Samsung SDS, said, "It was an occasion to share directions and cases for public AX," adding, "We plan to provide related insights through industry-specific seminars."
