LG Electronics said on the 19th it has expanded the lineup of its "LG Whisen View" air conditioners.
LG Electronics released the 2026 LG Whisen AI Objet Collection View I (hereafter View I). The company said, "It is a value model that broadens product choices so more customers can experience the popular Whisen View series," noting "easy maintenance, convenient AI airflow, and the customizable View Case to suit individual tastes as differentiators."
The price of the Whisen View I is 3.35 million to 3.92 million won for the 2-in-1, and the Whisen Cool Pro is 2.35 million to 2.87 million won for the 2-in-1. For subscriptions, the monthly fee starts at 82,900 won for the View I 4 series 2-in-1 and 71,900 won for the Cool Pro 4 series 2-in-1 (based on six years).
The Whisen View series is an air conditioner model first released in 2024. Last year's sales grew by more than 86% from a year earlier. During the same period, it accounted for half of LG Electronics' stand-type air conditioner sales. The 2026 View I Pro (6 series), released on Jan. 1, also surpassed sales for the same period last year by February.
The View series features "Clean View," which lets users open and clean the air conditioner by loosening a single screw and pressing a button. For 2026, View I models add a wide range of functions previously available only in the top lineup, in addition to Clean View. The "radar sensor" analyzes the customer's location, usage patterns, and space so AI airflow automatically adjusts the temperature. As it nears the set temperature, it automatically switches to one-sided airflow or soft airflow. When it detects no one indoors, it automatically switches to "away mode," which the company said reduces unnecessary energy use by up to 76%. The "comfort dehumidification" function creates a cool indoor environment by controlling humidity without excessively lowering the temperature. Power consumption can also be reduced by 36% compared with conventional powerful dehumidification.
LG Electronics expanded the total number of Whisen View series models this year from five to six. The Whisen Cool series, first released last year, will also expand its lineup with the "Whisen Cool Pro," which enables airflow control.
Jang Seok-hun, head of the RAC Business Division at LG Electronics' ES Business Headquarters, said, "The LG Whisen View series is continuing to expand sales with customer-friendly features like Clean View, and we will continue to add new customer value to lead the AI air conditioner market."
