Nexus said on the 18th that it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HoloStudio, an artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3-based content developer.
HoloStudio is the developer of the AI creation platform "PlayArts," and it took first place at the Sidify Hackathon, a global Web3 developer competition.
Through this agreement, the two companies will push to onboard HoloStudio's flagship project "Elimemtal" to the Cross platform (a partnership contract to load a game onto the platform).
Elimemtal is a strategic PVP (player-versus-player) card game that uses an element system. Its hallmark is an AI-based user-generated content (UGC) system that lets users create card skins directly by entering text prompts (commands). The created card skins are registered as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) upon generation and can be traded on the market.
In particular, the plan is to use Nexus's game economy infrastructure Cross Forge to build Elimemtal's tokenomics and begin advancing the game's content. Cross Forge is an economic infrastructure that lets game developers issue tokens easily without specialized Blockchain technical knowledge. Through this, developers can issue tokens conveniently, supply initial liquidity, and check market reaction to game performance.
Starting with this agreement, the two companies plan to expand the scope of cooperation to "The Planet," HoloStudio's upcoming MMO project under development.
Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of Nexus, said, "GameChain Cross is an open platform that continuously onboards high-quality games," adding, "Cross Forge will help games gain a successful foothold based on a proven user-based tokenomics."
