Google Cloud said on the 18th that more than 2,900 people took part in the "Google Cloud OnBoard" event held both online and offline on the 17th.
The event was run as a program to support strengthening cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for corporations officials and university students.
Engineers from Google Cloud and Google DeepMind took part in the event and shared AI technology and ways to apply it to business.
Google Cloud held an offline event for corporations and an online campus session for university students in parallel. At Seoul National University, Hanyang University and Pusan National University, the event was livestreamed and included networking.
The event consisted of four tracks: AI build-up, AI productivity, next-generation AI and AI hands-on. Participants joined programs on AI agent design, workplace application, model utilization and hands-on practice.
On site, along with a Generative AI experience program, there was also an omok match experience based on "Gemini Canvas."
Ruth Sun, president of Google Cloud Korea, said, "Google Cloud is supporting the strengthening of AI utilization capabilities for corporations and talent," and added, "We plan to continue operating related programs."
