Global voice artificial intelligence (AI) corporations ElevenLabs said on the 18th that it will launch a comprehensive insurance program dedicated to AI voice agents in partnership with AIUC, a corporations specializing in AI risk assessment.
ElevenLabs' AI agent "ElevenAgents" is a program that compensates for losses when it provides incorrect information or responds inappropriately in corporations' customer service or sales settings. The company said, "It is significant in that it recognizes AI not as a simple tool but as a 'digital employee' that takes responsibility for its own decisions and actions."
Until now, corporations have hesitated to adopt AI agents because of legal liability issues stemming from AI errors or hallucinations, but this insurance program reduces such uncertainty, according to ElevenLabs.
ElevenLabs' AI agent became the first in the world to obtain the AIUC-1 security and reliability certification, a strict security standard developed by AIUC. It means the system passed more than 5,000 high-intensity adversarial simulation tests based on failure cases that can occur in AI systems.
Mati Staniszewski, ElevenLabs chief executive officer (CEO), said, "Adoption of AI agents by corporations is expanding rapidly, and AIUC-1 certification is an important step for corporations to confidently deploy AI at scale," adding, "This certification provides the security framework and AI insurance coverage that partners need and will be a new means to help corporations minimize risk while focusing on building excellent customer experiences."
