SK hynix's average employee salary last year was tallied at 185 million won. It jumped 58.1% from a year earlier, hitting a record high.
On the 17th, according to the "2025 business report" disclosed by SK hynix, Chey Tae-won, chair of SK Group, received a total of 4.75 billion won from SK hynix last year, including 3.5 billion won in salary and 1.25 billion won in bonuses.
Kwak Noh-jung, chief executive officer (CEO) of SK hynix, received a total of 4.239 billion won, including 1.54 billion won in salary and 2.695 billion won in bonuses. Kim Ju-seon, president of AI infrastructure at SK hynix, received a total of 2.83 billion won, including 825 million won in salary and 2.005 billion won in bonuses.
Park Jung-ho, a management adviser who retired in 2024, received 1.84 billion won in salary. Including a bonus of 7.77 billion won from the settlement of long-term incentives granted while serving as a registered executive in 2022, the total came to 9.61 billion won.
The aggregates of compensation paid to nine directors and auditors last year totaled 7.104 billion won, with an average of 1.015 billion won per person. Among internal directors, Ahn Hyun, head of development at SK hynix, received a total of 2.052 billion won, including 750 million won in salary and 1.214 billion won in bonuses.
SK hynix invested 6.7325 trillion won in research and development (R&D) last year. It increased 35.9% (1.7781 trillion won) from the previous year (4.9544 trillion won), setting a record high.
