Jobis & Villains said on the 17th that it unveiled "New Samjeomsam," which lets users receive their tax refund first and pay the service fee later in the tax refund process.
New Samjeomsam is a service that applies a system in which the service fee is paid after confirming the actual deposit of the refund following the refund application.
Jobis & Villains said it introduced a postpayment system to reduce the burden on users caused by the previous prepayment method. Users complete the refund application first and then pay the service fee after the refund is deposited.
The refund application process was also improved. It was organized so that surveys related to dependents, monthly rent tax credit, and the income tax reduction program for employees at small and midsize enterprises can be completed on a single page.
Samjeomsam is a service launched in May 2020 that streamlines the tax refund process and is operated for users such as freelancers, small business owners, and part-time workers. The cumulative number of subscribers reached 24 million.
Chief Executive Kim Beom-seop of Jobis & Villains said, "The introduction of postpayment is a change in the service structure to reduce the payment burden," adding, "We will continue to improve services for customer convenience."
