"The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin" is a multiplayer open-world role-playing game (RPG) based on the "The Seven Deadly Sins" intellectual property (IP), the manga series with cumulative sales of 55 million copies. It offers an original story with a multiverse setting.
The launch version features a total of 18 heroes, including characters such as Meliodas, Tristan, Diane, and King. Players can explore regions including Liones Castle, Fairy Forest, and Baste Prison.
Combat proceeds by forming a team of four heroes and switching characters depending on the situation. The combat style varies by hero and weapon combinations, and players can use the cooperative skill "Combine Attack." It also offers multiplayer content where parties challenge bosses.
To mark the launch, Netmarble is offering roughly 59,000 Star Shards and 90 permanent hero draw tickets as in-game rewards. Through events, it plans to grant the SSR-grade hero "Guila," an SSR Wing of Dark Flame lance, an SSR crafted-weapon selection box, 60 permanent hero draw tickets, 10 pickup hero draw tickets, 4,300 Star Shards, and more.
