Kakao Enterprise said on the 16th that it overhauled the management console of its integrated cloud platform "Kakaocloud" and strengthened user-customized features.
Kakaocloud said it carried out this console overhaul so users can check and manage key metrics more efficiently at a glance, grounded in the design principle of a data-centric console. On the first screen of the new management console, users can intuitively view a variety of data, including △ recently used Kakaocloud services △ organization and project information △ cloud service usage status. Users can also compare and check numerous cloud-related metrics and detailed data by using the bottom and right panels and tabs.
User-customized features were also strengthened so anyone from cloud beginners to seasoned operators can build an optimally tailored management console as they wish. All data shown on the first screen are composed as "widgets," allowing users to directly add, delete, or rearrange the data they need. Frequently used services can be pinned to the top of the screen via "favorites." In addition, even on list screens that show detailed data, the "compact mode" gives users control to display more data on one screen or expose only the data they need.
Yun Byeong-sik, head of service development at Kakao Enterprise, said, "This Kakaocloud console overhaul goes a step beyond simply improving the UI (user interface) and is the result of a redesign into a data-centric console so users can manage cloud resources more efficiently," adding, "We will continue to strengthen user-customized features so users can utilize Kakaocloud more conveniently and provide an environment that lets them focus on the essence of their work."
