E-book platform Ridi said on the 16th that it will serialize the fantasy web novel "Do bankers also dream of dragons?" exclusively.
This new work is author Yeonsanho's next project, unveiled two years after the completion of "Become the light of the dark sea." The previous work won the grand prize in the web novel category at the 2022 SF Awards, the grand prize for fantasy web novels at the Ridi Awards 2022, and the grand prize at the 2023 Fantasy eBook Awards, becoming a hit recognized for both artistry and popularity.
"Do bankers also dream of dragons?," released this time, tells the story that unfolds when bank employee Eun Su-won is assigned to the Taechon branch of Geumbit Bank. It is a modern fantasy in which a strange being appears in the brutal reality of office workers, and it is set to showcase author Yeonsanho's signature imagination and narrative.
Ahead of the release, Ridi pre-released a universe website for "Geumbit Bank." It recreated the "Geumbit Bank Taechon branch," where the protagonist works, to look like a real bank website.
A Ridi official said, "We are pleased to present a new work to fans who have been waiting for Yeonsanho's new release," and added, "Starting with 'Do bankers also dream of dragons?' we plan to steadily introduce fantasy works with diverse charms."
