Kolon Benit said on the 12th it will expand its "Pre-Package" strategy so that SAP SuccessFactors can be introduced quickly and efficiently, tailored to the size of corporations.
This strategy provides a globally used human resources (HR) solution predesigned to fit corporations' size and operating maturity. Unlike the traditional large-corporation-focused full-scale build, it minimizes requirements analysis and long project phases so that even small and midsize corporations can adopt an HR system in a short period.
SAP SuccessFactors is a software-as-a-service (SaaS)–based HR solution that supports all HR areas, including recruitment, core HR, time and attendance, payroll, performance evaluation, learning, and analytics.
Kolon Benit, noting that domestic corporations feel burdened by the introduction timeline and expense of a full-module build, assembled a standard Pre-Package centered on core HR and performance/evaluation modules. It applies a configuration focused on key functions such as HR information management, goal setting, evaluation, and personnel appointment management.
This Pre-Package was designed based on the build and operations experience Kolon Benit has carried out. It minimizes processes such as analysis, design, and requirements definition that were conducted in conventional project methods, and the build period can be shortened to about two months. After adoption, functionality can be expanded to fit the circumstances of corporations.
Kolon Benit plans to use this strategy to improve accessibility to global HR solution adoption and to push for expansion in the domestic market.
Executive Director Chung Ju-yung of Kolon Benit said, "This Pre-Package strategy is not aimed at lowering prices but is a strategy to refine the implementation methodology and market approach," adding, "The goal is to lower the adoption barrier so that more corporations can use a global-level HR framework in a way that fits their size."
