Samsung Electronics said on the 5th it released its 2026 inverter dehumidifier with improved energy efficiency and high-capacity dehumidifying performance.
All models released this year come with a "digital inverter compressor" that boosts dehumidifying efficiency, delivering grade 1 energy efficiency across the lineup. Using the SmartThings-based "AI saving mode" can cut power use by up to 30%. In low-noise mode, it operates at 32 decibels (dB), allowing use during sleep.
Samsung Electronics expanded consumer choices by adding 21L and 23L high-capacity models to its existing 18L lineup. Users can choose a dehumidifying capacity that fits their environment, from small spaces such as laundry rooms or dressing rooms to larger areas like living rooms.
Considering environments that require long hours of dehumidification, such as the rainy season, a new "continuous drainage" function was added. By connecting a drain hose to the back of the product, users can dehumidify continuously without emptying the water tank.
It comes with a "water tank lighting" feature that lets users easily check the water tank status at a glance, and also offers a "quick remote" function to control the dehumidifier remotely via the SmartThings app on a smartphone.
Im Sung-taek, vice president of the DA Division at Samsung Electronics, said, "We will continue to introduce products that provide a comfortable and healthy indoor environment year-round, improving consumers' quality of life."
