Devsisters said on the 5th that it will join hands with the game platform Roblox to unveil the tentative-titled "Roblox Cookie Run Card Game" within the year.
Devsisters' TCG (trading card game) "Cookie Run: Bravers Card Game" (hereafter Cookie Run Card Game) is an intellectual property (IP) that last year secured a distribution deal for more than 50 million cards.
The "Roblox Cookie Run Card Game" is set to provide a play experience in which players freely roam a 3D-rendered space, collect cards or bake cards in an oven, and spend time with cookie pets they create themselves using those materials.
Development of the project is being jointly pursued with Versework, the largest UGC (user-generated content) developer in Asia. Versework has successfully grown the "Sol's RNG" intellectual property (IP), which ranked No. 3 in concurrent users on Roblox and recorded a cumulative 1.6 billion visitors.
A Devsisters official said, "With this collaboration, we will push to expand the IP platform and ecosystem based on the 'Cookie Run Card Game.'"
Devsisters plans to unveil the "Roblox Cookie Run Card Game" for the first time through the online showcase Devnow at the end of this month.
