Shinsegae I&C said on the 4th that it won a project to rebuild the membership system of HD Hyundai Oilbank.
The project is to completely redesign the back-end of HD Hyundai Oilbank's membership authorization and management system for a cloud environment. It aims to build a cloud-based, real-time data processing environment to secure system flexibility and ensure uninterrupted stability even under heavy traffic, improving the customer experience.
Shinsegae I&C plans to redesign the existing infrastructure with a public cloud-based architecture and integrate the previously scattered data processing workflows and application programming interface (API) systems into one. The goal is to reduce redundant or unnecessary processes, organize massive data systematically, and maximize overall system speed and efficiency.
It also plans to build a real-time data synchronization environment to maintain data consistency in a hybrid setup that combines existing on-premises (in-house) and public cloud systems. This will establish a stable data management framework by ensuring data integrity for items such as transaction histories and member information.
In addition, it plans to introduce a centralized, real-time monitoring framework to efficiently manage overall system operations and quickly detect and respond to failures.
Executive Director Seon Cheol, who oversees systems integration (SI) at Shinsegae I&C, said, "We will advance HD Hyundai Oilbank's membership system and, ultimately, maximize the customer experience through the new system to lead a successful digital transformation."
