Global electronics brand Anker is accelerating its push into the Korean market with new products, including chargers, an AI recorder, and a robot vacuum.
On the 4th, Anker Innovations Korea (hereafter Anker Korea) held its first media day event at the InterContinental Parnas Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and unveiled its lineup of products slated for release in Korea and its business strategy.
Founded in China in 2011, Anker is a global electronics brand that grew on e-commerce. It has expanded its business by building offline distribution networks in key advanced markets, including the United States, Europe, and Japan. In Korea, it established a subsidiary in Oct. 2024, shifted to a direct management system, and is now moving to expand the market in earnest.
Endo Ayumu, chairman of Anker Korea and chief executive officer (CEO) of Anker Japan, said, "Korea is a market that leads global smartphone trends and has a highly developed e-commerce environment," adding, "We lacked a sufficient system to fully satisfy Korean customers, but sales have grown severalfold in recent years through increased investment."
He added, "We will present a smart lifestyle to Korean consumers based on the product competitiveness and know-how accumulated in the global market."
Anker operates the charger brand "Anker (ANKER)," the audio brand "soundcore," and the smart home brand "eufy," among others. Centered on chargers, it has expanded its lineup to include earbuds and robot vacuums, growing in the global market.
The strategic products unveiled that day include the premium charger lineup "Anker Prime Series," the AI-powered recorder "soundcore AI recorder," and the robot vacuum "eufy C28 Omni All-in-One."
The Anker Prime Series consists of three models: ▲ 20,100mAh 220W power bank ▲ 26,250mAh 300W power bank ▲ 150W charging station. Despite compact designs, they support high-output charging to power multiple devices simultaneously.
The soundcore AI recorder records meeting or interview audio and, using GPT-5-based AI, provides transcription and summarization. It supports more than 140 languages, including Korean, weighs 10 grams in an ultra-compact form, and can capture voices up to 5 meters away. Continuous recording time is up to 32 hours.
The "C28 Omni All-in-One" robot vacuum from smart home brand eufy features up to 15,000 pascals (Pa) of suction. The consumer price is about 1.3 million won. With clean and dirty water tanks, it washes the roller in real time during mopping, and its "Duo Spiral" structure, in which the left and right brushes separate and counter-rotate, minimizes hair tangling.
Oh Byung-geun, head of Anker Korea, said, "We have obtained all globally recognized certifications related to security and are preparing to ensure we do not run afoul of domestic regulations," adding, "We plan to continue launching products tailored to the needs of Korean consumers."
Anker plans to strengthen after-sales service as well as product sales. The company built an A/S center in Seoul in Oct. 2025 and is currently providing specialized repair services, focusing on robot vacuums.
Takeuchi Hiroaki, vice chairman of Anker Korea, emphasized, "We are strengthening a service system that manages the overall customer experience, not just supplying cutting-edge products," adding, "Repair services that directly resolve customer issues also play an important role."
It is also pushing to expand offline touchpoints. Anker plans to operate a pop-up store at Starfield Wirye on the 26th and is considering opening permanent stores in the future.
