EMRO said on the 4th that its SRM software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution "Caidentia," developed in-house, has obtained ISO/IEC 27001, 27017 and 27018 certifications jointly established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard that evaluates the overall information security management system (ISMS) of corporations and institutions, ISO/IEC 27017 verifies information security controls tailored to cloud service environments, and ISO/IEC 27018 verifies personal data protection frameworks in cloud environments.
EMRO, through this certification, confirmed that its security controls and personal data protection management framework in cloud environments meet international standards. Following its earlier acquisition of the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 certification, it additionally secured three ISO/IEC standards.
EMRO is expanding its domestic and overseas business centered on the global integrated SRM SaaS solution "Caidentia." The company said it sees this certification as an opportunity to demonstrate compliance with the security and personal data protection standards required in global markets.
An EMRO official said, "We have confirmed that we have established cloud security and personal data protection frameworks through ISO/IEC 27001, 27017 and 27018 certifications," adding, "Based on this, we will strengthen our trust foundation in overseas markets as well."
