Smilegate Hope Studio said on the 4th that it carried out the "HEALing" activity "LORDNINE warmth supply quest" for vulnerable groups together with NX3 Games, the developer of LORDNINE.
The "LORDNINE warmth supply quest" was held on the 27th in Seocho District's Namtaryeong Garden Village in Seoul. The area has a high concentration of aging housing, and many recipients of basic livelihood benefits in the elderly demographic live there.
At the event, 41 NX3 Games employees, including LORDNINE producer Kim Hyo-jae, took part and personally delivered 2,500 coal briquettes to 10 households selected for support. The total number of briquettes donated and provided through this activity came to 11,111.
Smilegate producer Kim Hyo-jae said, "We were able to deliver coal briquettes to seniors on-site together with our employees," adding, "We will continue activities to help neighbors in need, both in and outside the game."
Smilegate Megaport, which is in charge of publishing LORDNINE, created a donation fund for this volunteer activity from the revenue of the in-game package "New Year warmth delivery box." The fund was delivered to the social welfare corporation Babsang Community Welfare Foundation and used to purchase coal briquettes.
NX3 Games has held employee-participation charity bazaars and donation campaigns with Hope Studio, and in recognition of these contributions, won the social contribution excellence award at the "2025 Korea Game Awards."
Kwon Yeon-ju, a director at Smilegate Hope Studio, said, "This was a social contribution activity joined by the developer, the publisher and Hope Studio," adding, "We will continue activities in cooperation with partners."
