LG CNS said on the 2nd that it will conduct three-digit headcount hiring of experienced workers in the first half of this year to secure experts in future core business areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics.
This hiring spans major businesses including AI, Robotics, global finance, consulting, data centers, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and smart factories. LG CNS said, "Anyone with hands-on experience and expertise related to the recruitment fields can apply regardless of major or years of experience," adding, "We plan to hire field-ready talent who can apply the latest technologies to industrial sites and create business innovation."
For the key recruitment area of AI roles, talent will design and implement AI models and services optimized for clients' businesses. LG CNS AX (AI transformation) talent will develop agentic AI specialized across various sectors such as finance, public, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals/biotech.
In the public sector, LG CNS, together with the Bank of Korea, conducted the country's first proof-of-concept for an agentic AI-based automatic payment system for digital currency, and is carrying out large-scale projects such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' intelligent AI data platform. In finance, it is pursuing large-scale AX initiatives including NH Nonghyup Bank's Generative AI platform and Mirae Asset Life Insurance's next-generation information system. In the pharmaceuticals/biotech field, it built Chong Kun Dang pharmaceutical's automated product quality evaluation system based on agentic AI and signed a contract for a project related to the K-AI new drug development platform promoted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Robotics roles carry out robot-based automation projects at logistics and manufacturing sites. They train robots so they can be quickly deployed to industrial sites and advance operations/control platforms so the robots can operate stably and efficiently.
LG CNS is currently conducting proof-of-concept (PoC) for industrial Humanoid Robot technology with more than 10 logistics and manufacturing clients. An LG CNS official said, "RX (robot transformation) talent can build capabilities across the entire process of robot training, application, and advancement in real industrial environments."
To advance its RX business, LG CNS is researching next-generation preemptive robot technologies through its "AI·Robotics R&D Center" in Silicon Valley, and is conducting field-application-focused robot technology R&D through its domestic "Future Robotics Lab." It is also expanding strategic cooperation with global robot corporations, including Skilled AI.
An LG CNS official said, "LG CNS is focusing on hiring and developing talent to secure global-level AX/RX leadership and to continuously strengthen core technology competitiveness."
